A Brilliant Beginning: A Grand Opening to TPO’s 3rd Decade

A heartfelt thank you to our fans and honored guests for creating such a phenomenal atmosphere at our “A Brilliant Beginning” concert. Your support made the launch of our 21st Season—and the first step into our third decade—truly warm and powerful.

This memorable evening began with a warm welcome from Dr. Piyawat Louilarpprasert, Dean of the College of Music, Mahidol University and TPO Executive Director, followed by Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, President of Mahidol University, who honored us by officially presiding over the opening remarks, ushering in a new era for the TPO.

We witnessed perfect musical chemistry under the baton of our new Music Director, Maestro Carl St.Clair, in his official debut. He captivated the audience with boundless energy, starting with the luminous World Premiere of Eternal Radiance by Narong Prangcharoen. The excitement continued with Claire Huangci’s spellbinding performance of Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3, and concluded with the joyful grandeur of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7, earning thunderous applause from the entire hall.

This is just the start of our journey this season. Thank you for being with us, and we look forward to seeing you at our next exciting concert!
