[POSTPONED] Pines of Rome

Join the Thailand Phil for an evening of grand music. The first half showcases the finest of Thailand’s young musical talents, starting with the world-premiere performance of Chevaliers, a new work by Viskamol Chaiwanichsiri, followed by a commanding performance of Ellerby’s Euphonium Concerto by virtuoso euphonium soloist Boonyarit Kittaseepitak. The grandeur continues on the second half as Maestro Scarano leads dazzling performances of two classics: Les Preludes and Pines of Rome.

ชีวิต วีรกรรม และความห้าวหาญของนักรบ พบกับคอนเสิร์ตที่จะพาคุณไปท่องเรื่องราวต่าง ๆ ผ่านบทเพลงจำพวก “Tome Poem” หรือบทเพลงที่เล่าเรื่องผ่านเสียงโน้ตดนตรี Les Préludes นั้นมองชีวิตว่ามิใช่ใดอื่นนอกเสียงจากบทเพลงนำของความตาย ส่วน Danse macabre นั้นนำเอาความตายมาวาดให้มีชีวิต ส่วนทั้งความตายทั้งชีวิตนั้นปรากฏในเพลงอันโด่งดัง Pines of Rome ที่วาดภาพเหตุการณ์อันเกี่ยวข้องกับต้นสนแห่งโรมตั้งแต่เด็กวิ่งเล่น สุสานแห่งความตาย ไปจนถึงกองทัพนักรบ เป็นพลังแห่งนักรบและอัศวินในความหมายที่ใกล้เคียงกับ Chevaliers บทเพลงใหม่ของ วิษณ์กมล ชัยวานิชศิริ ที่จะบรรยายถึงความหาญ-รัก-ภักดี ของอัศวิน คอนเสิร์ตเสริมลวดลายแห่งความห้าวหาญด้วยเพลงเดี่ยวยูโฟเนียม บรรเลงโดย บุญฤทธิ์ กิจทวีพิทักษ์
