Satit Chomchewchan was born in Khon Kaen in 1976. He began musical studies at Kaennakhon Wittayalai School under the guidance of Mr. Kasem Raksaken. In 1995, he continued musical studies at Chulalongkorn University where he studied trombone performance with Mr. Surapol Thanyawibul and composition with Mr. Narongrit Dhamabutra. During his studies at Chulalongkorn University, he studied the trombone performance with Mr. Arunkorn Chaisubunkanok (a member of the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra), Mr. Soraphot Worasaeng (a member of the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra) and Mr. Sithichai Ongsa-ard (a member of the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra).

After he finished his Bachelor’s degree in 1999, Satit joined the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, the New Sound Brass Quintet, the BSO (Bangkok Symphony Orchestra) Brass Ensemble and the Fong-Nam Band by Bruce Gaston.

From 2003, Satit was a member of the JRP Little Big Band, the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra (2005), the TPO (Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra) Brass Quintet (2007) and the Thailand Trombone Ensemble (2010).

In 2012, Satit graduated his Master’s Degree at the College of Music, Mahidol University in the Music Performance program with Professor Philip Brink
