SPANISH DANCES
Dance is an integral part of Spain’s cultural heritage. Join Maestro José-Luis Novo for an all-Spanish concert that explores the full gamut of dance styles, from the Malagueña and Habanera in Ravel’s Rapsodie espagnole to De Falla’s Flamenco-inspired ballet, The Three-Cornered Hat. The program is rounded out by the Asian premier of Oscar Navarro’s cinematic new horn concerto, Connection, performed by one of the world’s foremost horn virtuosi, Javier Bonet.
