Pelleas and Melisande

The play Pelléas et Mélisande inspired no fewer than four musical masterworks. TPO and Brazilian conductor Ligia Amadio present Arnold Schoenberg’s take on this “tragedy of adultery”. TPO solo piano favorite Poom Prommachart returns to perform Brahms’ first major orchestral work, his Piano Concerto No. 1.
