Luminous Gestures

One of America’s most innovative conductors, Carl St. Clair, visits two repertory standards and shines a spotlight on Illuminating Journey, Narong Prangcharoen’s 2014 composition which is a reflection on the close and lengthy relationship between the composer and Maestro St. Clair. The Thailand Phil will explore Schubert’s most famous yet most enigmatic “Unfinished” Symphony before reigniting the flames in Shostakovich’s tenth and most rousing symphony.
