From Russia with Love

The most captivating adaptation of Romeo and Juliet into the language of danceable music was the composition of Prokofiev. Joining conductor Alfonso Scarano and TPO is Italian flutist Antonio Amenduni for Khachaturian’s Flute Concerto. The program rounds out with the Lighter than Air by Thai composer Narong Prangcharoen.
