Nitiphum Bamrungbanthum was born in Khonkaen, Thailand on February 17, 1997. He started playing trumpet at age 14.  His first band experiences were at Kaen Nakhon Wittayalai School, Khonkean. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from the College of Music, Mahidol University where he studies trumpet with Asst. Prof. Dr. Joseph Bowman.  Nitiphum has participated in master classes with distinguished trumpet artists such as Reinhold Friederich, Peter Monkediek, Jens Lindermans, and Carole Reinhart.

Nitiphum was named principal trumpet with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra in May 2017  at  age  20.  He has appeared regularly as a soloist and orchestral and chamber performer throughout Thailand. Previously he served as Co-Principal of the Princess Galyani Vadhana Youth Orchestra, and the Mahidol Wing Orchestra. A founding member of the Zero Brass Quintet, the group was awarded the 2nd Prize (no first prize awarded) in the 18th Osaka International Music Competition Mixed Chamber Music Division. The group also several other local Thailand brass chamber music competitions.
