
TPO performs the epic symphonic suite Scheherazade, which is based on scenes from Arabian Nights (One Thousand and One Nights) and is Rimsky-Korsakov’s most popular work. Also, Chief Conductor Gudni Emilsson is joined by cellist Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt for a performance of Schostakovich’s Cello Concerto No. 2.
