The 7th Season of TPO draws to a close with performances of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5 “Emperor” featuring piano soloist Rolf Dieter Arens. Maestro Gudni Emilsson then leads TPO in the performance of Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 12 “The Year of 1917”.

The program concludes with one of the most popular symphonies of all time – Shostakovich 5.
